Hartsfield is the name of Atlanta's airport. It is also the name of our star travel bag, whose success is unwavering.

The first travel bag – or Weekender – from WANT Les Essentiels was the Charleroi, fully dressed in leather and designed based on a rigid structure. Beautifully elegant, its retro design charmed lovers of the dandy look, a niche clientele. Then the O'Hare tote, more streamlined, won everyone's hearts, but its format – ideal for everyday use – was not enough to meet the needs of short-term travelers.

This is how the Hartsfield, a variation of the O'Hare, came into being. Designed more than a decade ago, it was carefully thought out to be both light and spacious, to fit the size of cabin luggage, offer a practical interior construction, and remain flexible while having a structured base. Because let’s agree that a gym bag is not enough to escape for a long weekend! And no one wants to drag a wheeled suitcase behind them anywhere other than an airport, and even then! Easy to carry by hand with its two leather handles, or over the shoulder with its removable and adjustable strap, Hartsfield will be your most faithful travel companion.

To symbolize WANT's renewal, its interior construction has been revamped and several practical and aesthetic details were added:

A large zippered and reinforced interior pocket, and two patch pockets.

Wider removable strap for comfort.

The updated WANT Les Essentiels signature logo and the incorporation of the arch shape into the design now embody our major theme for the new classics.
