FOOD & DRINKS

FOR THE DRINKS & ATMOSPHERE

Mount Pleasant

Tucked away in Vancouver’s West Side, Casa Molina feels like being welcomed into someone’s home, as it’s literally situated inside a converted Mount Pleasant heritage house. Its famed paella, warm atmosphere, and the chef Javier Blanc’s personal touch create a rare kind of comfort. Try one of their cocktails- that pay tribute to Spanish spirits - and pair it with a side of croquetas or Iberico ham.

If you want to try something special, La Fabrique St-George makes its wine in a unique and ancestral way: in Georgian amphoras called qvevry. The result? All-natural wines with surprising notes, characterized by the spontaneous fermentation of top-quality grapes. More of a cool store than a restaurant, you grab your snack in the fridge – a cheese, a sausage or bread made by local experts – to enjoy with your drink.

Chinatown

You can’t skip a visit to Chinatown and Meo, a cocktail and snack bar which
transports you in another era. Sip a deliciously reinvented spicy margarita in this 70’s to 80’s decor that makes the place so singular; and pay attention walking down East Pender Street, as you could miss the entrance.

East Vancouver

Going to Ama feels like a transportive experience. With a set up inspired by Denis Villeneuve’s Blade Runner 2049, this sultry enclave offers a seafood-focused menu and a cocktail bar featuring Japanese liquors. If you’re
well-accompanied, it’s the perfect place to savor an excellent drink in an unforgettable atmosphere.

Gastown

Located in a lively neighborhood, Pourhouse is the go-to place for a good old-fashioned cocktail and an out of this world burger. Between extensive happy hours and a live music program every Sunday night, you’re guaranteed to have a great time.

FOR A DELICIOUS MEAL

Kitsilano

Located in the heart of Kitsilano, just a short walk from the shoreline, Annalena offers one of Vancouver’s most memorable dining experiences.
A Michelin Guide recommendation and 2024’s Restaurant of the Year, its seasonal tasting menu never disappoints. Add warm service and a welcoming atmosphere to make fine dining a truly joyful experience.

Coal Harbour

Another Michelin Guide–recommended restaurant, Botanist celebrates the Pacific Northwest with locally sourced ingredients and refined presentation. Chef Hector Laguna’s menu highlights wild seafood and seasonal products in a space as elegant and airy as it is rooted in nature. Bonus points for the sommelier team, whose wine pairings earned the restaurant an award earlier this year.

Gastown

West Coast cuisine with a French accent—that’s L’Abattoir. Set in a beautiful 19th-century brick building, the restaurant is known for its inventive cocktails and refined tasting menu. Not in the mood for a long meal? Try their classic: the Pacific oysters with black truffle and garlic butter.

Cambie Village

Elio Volpe hasn’t been around for long but it’s already a favorite. Focusing on traditional Southern Italian cuisine mixed with the finest local ingredients, its mission is to elevate Italian classics – pizza, pastas, antipastis – by giving them a little Pacific twist in a homey yet refined setting.

Main Street

Lila is the fruit of a collaboration between two legends of the culinary scene in Vancouver, Meeru Dhalwala and Shira Blustein. Together, the close friends opened a relaxing space hiding one of the prettiest patios of the city and dedicated to Indian Cuisine, the contemporary way. Simply delicious.

West Vancouver

There’s sushi—and there’s Hello Nori Signature sushi. This top hand roll bar’s latest opening at Park Royal offersmore seating, an expanded menu of fresh dishes, and an elevated selection of cocktails and rare Japanese whiskies.

Chef Clement Chan's menu highlights local ingredients—from fresh seafood to foraged mushrooms—crafted with precision and subtle Asian influences. The space mirrors this ethos: natural materials, contemporary art, and warm tones create an atmosphere of understated elegance.

Yaletown

If you’re a pasta lover, don’t miss Tutto Restaurant & Bar. Known for its authentic cuisine and extensive wine list, the menu features standout pasta dishes like the addictive pork and fennel sausage pasta. The ambiance is both vibrant and inviting, making it an ideal spot for both special occasions and casual gatherings.

FOR A COFFEE BREAK

Lower’s Lansdale

For a special coffee-flavored treat, indulge in an Affogato, a gelato drowned in espresso, at Dolce Amore, affectionately known as The Gelato Mafia. A classic Italian treat, regardless of the season.

Kitsilano

Just Another Café transitions from a daytime café to an evening wine bar. We love the space which features floral textiles, locally sourced wood, and varied tiles, creating a welcoming atmosphere where you can enjoy the comforting in-house roasted coffee with your brunch.

Chinatown

Not a coffee drinker? Head to Chinatown and immerse yourself in Vancouver’s finest Chinese tea culture. The Chinese Tea Shop offers a curated selection of premium teas, traditional teaware, and expert guidance. Whether you’re a seasoned connoisseur or just getting started, it’s well worth the visit.

Kerrisdale

Elegant ambiance, attentive service, and a menu of refined sandwiches, scones, and desserts, Secret Garden Tea brings tradition to life, the English way.
